Most recently, Napa Valley, Duckhorn, vintage 2002, Merlot. This is still available though expensive..

The Bottle was made in 1979 oh my goodness it was so good got it in Germany

1989 Chateau Petrus hands down. That said, good luck finding it.
other faves: Opus One, Caymus, Phelps Insignia, Quintessa, Concha y Toro Don Melchor, Chateau Margaux, Groth, Silver Oak, Screaming Eagle, Mondavi Reserve, Ornellaia Masseto , Antinori Tignanello, oh can i go on?!
If you have to lower it down to one night:
It was the day I planted Bordeaux clones on Kathryn Kennedy's vineyand and that evening drank her 84 cab along with 85 Heitz Martha's Vineyard Cab, 85 Caymus,and the surprise of the evening: 1953 Chateau D'Yquem Sauternes along with the menu of wild boar, venison and pear with the sauternes....sublime.

Toss up between C?tes de N?mes, Le Fleurette and "Parallel '45", all from Southern France.

BV Georges Lateour Cabernet 1987.....got engaged over it-it was THAT good!
