I drink every now and then?!

Question:

I drink every now and then?

well I'm 21 and every now and then I drink Smirnoff's, but when I start to feel a buzz or whatever I feel like my arms, shoulder's start aching. Does anyone know why this is? I mean it hurts! it's like a sharp aching feeling.

Answers:
perhaps that's just how being drunk is for you. do see a doctor. for all we know you shouldn't be drinking at all. I have a friend and they cannot drink because it's a cardiovascular complication. please do see your physician.

I'm really not sure----maybe you shouldn't drink??? If it physically just makes you sick then you shouldn't be doing it!

Alcohol poisoning.

some are allergic to alcohol and won't be able to drink. looks like u r one of them. check with ur doctor.

maybe it's your body telling you you shouldn't be drinking.

I am thinking you are generally dehydrated. Drink water more often. That might help you more. Doesn't need to be bottled. Just more water.
Also muscles need calcium and potassium. Try to get it in foods, not pills. Greens

Possible causes
1) High blood pressure 2) Allergic reaction 3) Alcohol poisoning 4) somebodys beating on you.

Sounds like the stress of alcohol on your body is bringing out some hidden symptoms. Definitely check it out with a doctor or two. If I had to guess I would agree with the dehydration theory, and probably some kind of poor nutrition in general. But the allergic reaction thing is not out of the question. Is there a doctor in the house? Perhaps bring this question over to the medical forum...

You're supposed to sip alcohol, not gulp it. When you drink alcohol too fast, your whole body reacts. Be careful because sometimes drinking too fast can cause you to lose your breath or it can stop your heart.
