Anyone heard of Red Diamond merlot? It's from Washington state and was made in 2004.?!

Question: It was $10, but i drank a bottle of it once and thought it was delicious. However, i was already drunk when I started to drink the wine, so I'm not sure if it was actually good or not. Has anyone tried it?

I've never tried it so I can't say, but they are still around: http://www.reddiamondwine.com/wines.html

It isn't that unusual to find decent wine at $10-15 from a small, relatively unknown winery.

Yes, I have had it before. Bought mine at Trader's Joe's, it was under $10 on sale. It is OK. not my favorite wine. But for the price/value it was good. I am not much of a Merlot fan. I prefer Ravenswood zinandel (red kind) to the red diamond merlot.

by the way it is not a relatively unkown brand either. It is owned by Ste. MIchelle Winery out of Washington state, which is a HUGE producer of wine.
