Dose sugar go stale?!

Question:

Dose sugar go stale?

Answers:
no sugar does not go stale in the shortage in the seventy's my mum stored it up and useded it for along time after and we are still here to tell the tale

only two things will happen

if it gets wet or damp, it will be come hard

if you have it too long, years and years, possibility silverfish will develop-bug infested

White sugar doesn't go stale as such, the biggest problem is keeping as dry as possible. If you keep it in an airtight container, not simply the paper bag, it should not go damp and hard, and will last for ever.
Dark brown cane sugar however, will dry out and go stale once opened to the air.

No but if it is not sealed moisture can get in in and make it clump together like a brick
