BLEH. Alright we think it was made wrong. Watchers of Scrubs you know how JD drinks Appletinis all the time. Well mum tried to make one, tastes like.. bitter and not very good..Not what we'd expect Zach Braffs loveable girly character to drink.
Others who have had this drink before what does it taste like?

Appletinis are off the rip!! so yeah, you were doing it wrong! try some apple pucker with some Grey goose or belvedere (preferably the goose though) it should be real smooth, but add the pucker til you get the flavor you need, a little crushed ice, add the top of a granny smith apple for garnish. if that doesn't cut it, cheat with a dash of triple-sec

It's supposed to taste like a green apple - kinda sweet, yet tart. Most liquor stores will have a good apple mixer, pair that with a high quality vodka. Or, for something different yet oh so yummy, try a caramel apple martini - Players makes a very good caramel infused vodka, mix with your apple mixer and rim the top of your martini glass with some caramel. Yum!
1 1/4 oz vodka
1 oz apple pucker
splash sweet-n-sour
splash 7-up
