How much does a shot of Louis XIII cognac cost?!

Question:

How much does a shot of Louis XIII cognac cost?

I'm a fan of cognac, but I know I'll never purchase a bottle of Louis XIII, but would love to taste it one day. I'm going to Vegas next week, and if I'm up on the trip I might want to try a shot. Does anyone know how much a shot will possibly cost?

Answers:
In Vegas it will cost you $300 a shot in a bar. Though it is not worth it, there are many more cost effective Cognac/ Brandy's to try. I suggest Germain-Robin XO or Hine XO, which for the cost of one shot of Louis you can buy a bottle of both.

Don't waste your money.! It is only alcohol..

A 50 ml bottle (about a shot) costs $200, and the bar will add corkage. Probably $250 or so. You can get your own 750 ml bottle for only $1,500. A steal.

There's a bar in my town that a shot costs $100 for 1 oz. I've never had it, but I had a friend who tried it. He said it just tasted like booze.
