What's your favorite brand of beer??? Ever try any foreign brands???!

Question: For ales, porters, and stouts, my favorite is anything from Bell's Brewing Co., Kalamazoo, MI. Their Expedition Stout is worthy of the Gods. If you don't get Bell's where you live, make your local beer-snob store order some. You won't regret it.

For lagers, you just can't beat Pilsner Urquell from the Czech Republic...it's the standard by which all other pilsners are judged.
Having said that, my favorite beer of all time, period, is the same it was back in college: FREE.

Stella Artois :)

I tried to fight it, but I got kinda hooked on Heineken lately... good stuff.

Caladonian I think thats how it's spelled. Irish beer.

I like budweiser.
When I eat at a mexican restaurant, always get Tecate.

Bud light ....tried a beer from Transylvania called Draculas brew

bud light in bottles

Coors Light

Bud Light

Used to be Stella, but the last 4 times I've had it, it tasted like junk. I now like a local beer, the Lion Brewery Wurzburger.

I drink, on occasion, Sapporo when I am at Japanese eateries.

My GF likes UFO raspberry beer. Its pretty good. dont know the exact name or if they still make it. I laughed at one of my friends who got it, until i tried it.
Dont listen to the ppl who say bud or coors. They obv have not tried many beers, cuz those things are booooring.

Carling, Grolsch, Stella Artois, Heineken.

Lager - Beer...What's the difference!

the only foreign brands of beer i tried were tecate mexican imported and this italian beer called perrolti (don't know how to spell it) but my favorite brand of beer is the miller high life regular or lite i just love the taste of it and like alot of beers this one doesn't have a bitterness to it

My favorite beer is the next one.

But I don't drink that much. A 6-pack will last for 2 weeks, and it might be another 2-3 weeks before I get the next one. I like to try something new that I haven't had, too. It might be domestic, it might be imported, it won't be light, though. Life is too short to drink cheap beer.

I personally only like Heinekin but my fiance drinks all that crazy stufff you can only get in certain stores... I think his recent fav is "Magic Hat #9"

Any beer by Great Lakes Brewery.

Magic Hat Circus Boy is good.

Spanish Peaks brews are good.

Bavaria (Holland)

Red Stripe (jamaica)

Sam Adams (for varieties sake) Black lager is the best.

JW Dundees Porter is very good.

Stay away from Baltika (russian beer and not very good)

Happy Tasting!

Bud light

only corona.
i more of a vodka person anywayss.

there is a beer from holland, i believe called GROLSCH...it is similiar to Heineken but actually comes in re-sealable ceramic tops...

Since there are not really any Irish beers all the beer here is foreign but some stuff that are only sold in their native countries are good, my favorite would have to be Super Bock from Portugal

I agree w/ ralf...life is too short to drink crappy beer. I honestly can say I don't have a die hard fave but one beer I have been drinking a lot lately is Smithwick's (Ireland). Currently in my fridge is a local selection, River Horse Hop Hazard Pale Ale (Lambertville, NJ).
I have tried many foreign and domestic brands and IMO it doesn't matter where it is brewed but how.

It seems dub doesn't get out much. no irish beers? guinness, harp, smithwicks to name but a few...

The german beer DAB is very nice

There are so many good beers!

G. Schneider & Sohn makes great German wheat beers.

I also really like Belgian abbey ales, Ommegang makes a good dubbel in the Belgian style that is produced right here in the states (NY) .

Stone Brewery out of San Diego makes a lot of great brews and is pretty widely available.

There are a lot of good foreign brewers, but there are also so many great craft brews being produced right here in the US!

Pilsner Urquel, Czechvar - Czech Republic
EB - Poland

Corona with lime

My favorite American brand on the whole is either 3 Floyds or Dogfish Head Brewing. Both breweries have several "go-to" beers and several very unique beers.

My favorite international brand on the whole is either Brasserie A'Chouffe in Belgium or Mikkeller in Denmark. Both make beer that I'm rather fond of.

Picking my favorite common beer is a near impossible task for me. My moods determine my tastes and therefor my favorite. The absolute best beer I've ever had was Westvleteren Abt 12... I've had two and I've been aging two for the past year and a half. This is a humbling beer.

As for any foreign beers... I've tasted somewhere in the range of 750 to 1000 different beers over the past several years. The majority have been American craft, but I'd estimate 40% or more have all been foriegn. My country of preference is Belgium... Don't let anyone tell you Germany makes the best beer. They make the most popular styles... But the Belgiums and Americans make the best. Even Michael Jackson (the Beer Hunter and not the pop singer) the worlds leading expert on beer and whiskey before his death marvelled at the complexities and quality in American microbrews.

Steel Reserve or Natural Ice, Some of us still enjoy the Lap of Luxury....

i like Beck's...and yea i love foreign beer

MGD for sure
