Sweet vermouth + vodka? HELP?!


Question: Ok I meant to buy regular vermouth, but i guess I bought sweet one. it has a brownish colour and it says original french sweet on the label. anyway I'm trying to figure out some good drinks to make with that. Give me any and all idea you got thanks!

I'd just search for "vermouth" and then look at all the recipes from there as they don't really differentiate between sweet and dry.

And to clarify the other answers, Martinis use Dry Vermouth.

Definitely a martini.... lightly coat the glass with the vermouth before you add the vodka.

The sweet vermouth is used to make a Manhattan. You mix it the same way as a martini, but with whiskey. Replace the olives with a couple maraschino cherry's and a dribble of their juice. I am a martini drinker, but this is a good drink to mix things up a Little bit.
