Is it true that Guinness beer is better in Ireland than in America?!

Question:

Is it true that Guinness beer is better in Ireland than in America?

Should I come over and tour enya's castle while I'm there?

Answers:
Definitely.

yes much better

The best you can get is in Dublin....asky Paddy he will tell ya.

yes guinness always tastes better in ireland than anywhere else in the world.they had a competition to see why this was and nobody could come up with an explanation.when i had a guinness in ireland it was significanly thicker and creamier than one i got anywhere in the uk.

Shouldnt it all be the same where ever it's consumed as the ingredients are the same :)

Apparently Guinness tastes better in Ireland than anywhere else in the world! I don't think anyone knows why, it just does!

Yes, and Budweiser is better in the Czech republic. Any Scottish or Irish whiskey is better than Jack Daniels. Just go back to the source. The USA didn't invent the wheel.

yes it's true. doesn't matter where you get it the best you'll ever have will be in Ireland

True Guinness was brewed from the water of the river Liffey in Dublin and was supposed to be the best tasting,to answer your question Yes !!!!Guinness does not travel well and the water quality in other countries(purified and treated) is quite different in the final taste.

Definately better in Ireland. I think its all made in the same brewery in Dublin so it must be the transport and treatment that makes the Guinness less palatable in other countries (the same is true in Europe and the UK).

If you go to Oirland to try the Guinness, please get out of Dublin as soon as possible. A pub called Cleers in Kilkenny is without a doubt the best Guinness in the country.

That is true with all imported beer. Ive spent a significant amount of time in Germany and drinking the beer there, and if I drink it here it is not the same. I havent had Guinness in Ireland, but Ive had it in Germany and in the UK. In both places it was by far better than in the US. Ive also had beer in Poland and in the Czech Republic, then found the same brands here for sale, and again it wasnt quite the same.

It's way better in Ireland than anywhere else because of the water that is used in the brewing process. Don't visit Enya's castle cos she'll probably have you arrested, she's a hermit!!

Of course. It is fresher because it is closer to the source! Same goes for all imports. This is why I usually drink Bud. It cannot comapre to Warsteiner Verum or Pilsener Urquell, BUT at least it is fresh and not full of preservatives. I drink the latter in the cooler months and drink Bud or Corona in the summer.

It is better in Ireland than anywhere else in the whole world. Come on over and give yourself a real treat.

Hell yes...the best Guinness i ever tasted was in the Guinness factory itself!

mmmmmmmmmmmmmm??? yerrrrr u have to be an idiot not to no that

No it's all the same. There is only one factory in the world that makes it (St James Gate in Dublin) and everything is made using the same recipe. The only difference, if you can taste a difference (and I can't) might be because of the extra time in transit if it's far away from Ireland and it'd be left in stock for ages.

yes it is ..........and sure isnt everything else better here too....
