What does truffles tastes like?
I cant afford buying it I'll just ask what does it tasted like.

They are so delicious. They taste similar to mishroom, but not entirely, they have a taste all of their own. Its very earthy and a little smokey even.
If you cant afford to buy them, you can get some paste or paté made from truffle, for spreading on toast or crackers, and its quite cheap. Try your local deli or in the fridge at your supermarket. Its really worth a try.

Yes, they are very potent/ rich mushrooms. They are not always so expensive. $25 should get you a bottle of truffle oil or a whole, small, truffle in oil. They are worth the experience.
