If you could wade through the religious meaning of the text on the link above, you will find the exact process for fermented and unfermented wine during biblical times...

The wine produced in those times could be a fermented or unfermented wine...

It is believed that Jesus and his disciples drank the unfermented sort. The same with the wine in the Wedding Miracle...

I don't remember, but I have heard many experts say that it had a much lower alcohol content then wine does today.

Lets send him an email, or send one to his administrative assistent and ask them, it may take several hundreds of thousands of years for them to get back with us but maybe technology will assist in some way. LOL Seriouslt though

I am sure that we will never fully know, look at all the processes of fermentation we go through now with our veineyards and such, I am sure their wine was 300 times better, stronger and more pure than now, red wine is drank in church to signify Christ's blood, so I am going to say red but then again we will never fully know unless you research theology.

Mogen David.

It was pretty much grape juice. Only barbarians drank hard liquor back then, or so I've heard.

Kosher wine.

water changed into wine ..so called....miracle wine

Jesus made wine from water so it could have been a white wine, but I suspect most wines of that day were red wines.

Lower alcohol content as they didn't have the process as refined as we do now.

The culture of the day would suggest a very generic blend but basically a red they would also have the grapes on the table.
You don't need much to make wine except for the small wood barrels. Crush the grapes, squeeze the juice into a barrel and let it sit.
Check your yellow pages for brewery supplies. Some shops even give classes to teach you it,, is easy and fun.

Holy Moley, Andy!

In church they serve red wine to represent Christ's blood, so I would guess that he drank red wine. Probably of some type of berry or grape back then. I think that I was taught that he turned water into wine. I bet if you go to church and ask the minister then you would get a good answer. It is hard to say what they all drank back then! Good Question!!!!

Boone's Farm. Didn't you see Indiana Jones and the last Crusade? The cup was that of a common man, so shall his wine.
