The guys who watch monitors in England measuring Earth Quakes?!
I could do that.
Answers: What are they doing the rest of the time?15 seconds on telly every 30 years?
I could do that.
Between 200 and 300 earthquakes are detected and located in the UK, by the British Geological Survey annually, so they are kept quite busy really.
hee hee! sign me up for that job, too.
Thats a whole load of **** scratching and tea drinking. I don't know if I'm up to the task...
Not for me,,the workload is too stressful,,
I reckon some of them must waste their workday on here.
They're measuring Eathquakes in other parts of the world! Are ye daft???
It's a bit like asking what a bus driver does apart from turning the wheel. There's always more to any job than meets the eye.
Probably feet up, smokin' cigars...
Nah, thing is unless you get tremors beforehand I think they are just like the rest of us, unaware of what is to come or how big it will be.
Are earthquakes getting more frequent though, here in England? I'm sure they are. And so many networks underground, lucky it didn't do much damage (I think).
