Answers:
Probably, you can get a gallon jug for $.65 at the grocery store.

we can buy a gallon of water for 1-2 dollars at the store.

DEPENDS ON HOW THIRSTY YOU ARE

" 'Crazy' " your being nice- - STUPID is more like it,, but an idiot will pay $4.00 for coffee.
OPEC looks at us and laughs, we will see $100 a barrel soon
Run your numbers on potato chips.
Is there any thing realy under $2.00 at the grocery store???

Yes, I've seen reports that bottled water is more impure in many cases than tap water. Public water fountains have virtually disappeared, steering people to this reckless consumer act.

yep, and we're thinking shell oil is a bunch of crooks at the pump
gullible aren't we ?

Yes. I have NEVER understood the rationale of bottled water. I can see it for a natural disaster or some such when the normal ground water may be compromised. But, here? Around town and at home? On a daily basis? I wonder and I've asked people but I've never gotten a good reason. I've seen lower prices in stores. I recall seeing one recently, 24oz for $0.90. The size of the bottles was perfect to stand up in my freezer, so I bought a few. I have a foam insulator for exactly this size bottle. I fill the bottle to 1/3 right from the tap in the kitchen by the way, and then stand it in the freezer. The next day, I add water on top of the ice block, and I've got cold water all day long. Other than to get that specific size plastic bottle, I've never bought bottled water to drink on a regular basis. I do have a 2 cases in the garage just in case, along with food for a week, and my portable cook stove.
