Question:

Why good friday is called good friday?rest fridays of the year r bad?

Answers:
It is called Good Friday, because according to Christian beliefs, this is the day that Jesus Christ was crucified and died for the sins of mankind. It is called 'good' because it was good for mankind. Mankind was saved by this selfless act of sacrifice by Christ. Christians honor this day and the memory of His sacrifice by attending Good Friday services, by fasting and making reparations for past wrongs, and prayer.

you are doing something wrong if your fridays are bad.

cos he was a good man.

Commemorates the crucifixion and death of Jesus Christ

and the rest of the fridays are not bad. they are always good because that means the weekend it here.

Good Friday is a religious holiday, It's the anniversary of the day Jesus Christ's died for our sins.
And he didn't die every Friday of the year, thats why they are not all "good" Friday.

Good Friday commemorates the crucifixion of Jesus on the cross. It is part of a series of Holy days around this time of year.
Holy Thursday is the start of it and is in remembrance of the Last Supper.
Good Friday commemorates his crucifixion.
Easter Vigil is the Saturday and that is in preparation for his rising from the grave.
Easter Sunday is when he was risen from the dead.
Pentecost is the fiftieth day after Easter Sunday in which Jesus ascended into heaven.

Why is it called "Good Friday"? I do not know. I find it kind of ironic actually. I mean, if he died, wouldn't that make it a "Bad Friday"? So no, the rest of the Sundays of the year are not bad.

It can be confusing how someone who has faith calls a day when his savior is tortured and killed in a painful way a "good" day. If you look further than the title, it was foretold in the old Testament of the Bible that the "Messiah" would have to die and be raised from the dead.

It is called "good" Friday, looking back, because being crucified was necessary for Jesus to fulfill the prophesy and prove his claims to be who he said he was.

Just as the scriptures in the Old Testament said, he would be sacrificed as the Lamb of God so the sins of man should be forgiven. Good Friday is "good" because on that day Jesus became the bridge to heaven.

An atheist must have named this one.

Apparently you're not a religious person.

Because it comes before descent Saturday
