How does the illinois smoking ban effect hookah bars?!

lol...you might have a few nasty people smoking on the street near your house :)
Some clubs make them "private" so you can smoke in them, if not, you gotta go outside like everyone else.
The only reason I know, I live in Canada and that ban was passed years and years ago.
Hookah bars tend to get around the bans by using herbs and other stuff, not tobacco. NYC and other metropolitan cities (like Boston) are sprouting Hookah bars and have no issues with the smoking bans.
However, the stuff that is used in the hookah tend to be way worse than tobacco on your health. Be careful and ask.
I've heard of different flavored stuff though!
I've heard that all the hookah bars can keep their licenses but no new licenses will be given out.... I can't say that's 100% sure but I heard it from someone who frequets Hookah bars.
