Don't you hate when nothing but ale, beer or wine gets "the cat out of your tongue"? whatever that means.!
Answers: I realize that I may be singing the song of a drunkard, but it seems that the only time that I feel some what creative, or atleast allow myself to be so, is when I've had a few drinks. Please don't get me wrong. I understand how much problems drinking causes, and I’m in no way condoning drinking, for I know that the Bible says that if one drinks, they're basically a fool. Therefore, I don't feel proud of the fact that I've been drinking, but it does seem to lower my ambitions, enough so that I can be what I think I should be at the time. Although. I realize that I may be acting as a fake, or am I? The person that I become when I drink is not who I am. But sometimes I would like to be that person. Does anyone relate? And if so what shall we do to be all that we can be without the aid of intoxicating, or pharmaceutical help?
I hear ya... I feel more relaxed, creative, outgoing, etc when I have a couple of drinks... There are a lot of reasons you might not feel that way normally... Maybe you should talk to a doctor, specifically a psychologist (not psychiatrist who prescribes meds) and see if you have any sort of anxiety or something like that.
Jesus drank wine when he was on the earth... The bible says that a glutton is a fool, someone who drinks too much and gets drunk and does dumb stuff... But as long as you keep your drinking under control and are aware of what drinking too much can do, you should be alright.
There's nothing wrong with having a couple drinks to help you loosen up and spark some creativity. I know many musicians and artists have used similar methods lol.
Be safe~!
I don't know of anywhere the Bible says "that if one drinks, they're basically a fool."...but there are many different versions and interpretations of the Bible.
As you can read below, alcohol is a depressant chemical that effects the way you think and act.
I drink alcohol to help me relax and because I like the taste. Tonight I've had two beers, some nights I don't have any, other days I might drink a 12 pack.
You should be aware of alcohols effects, and how it plays a part in your life. If it's causing problems, or being abused you should seek help or cut back on drinking.
We all need to be accountable for who we are whether we're drinking, sober or taking pharmaceuticals.
