Most people are unaware, but Miller Lite and Milwaukee's Best Light (a.k.a. "the beast") come from the same containers before being packaged.
You pay more for the Miller Lite because of all the promotional expenses for it: sporting events, TV commercials, the Miller Lite girls, t-shirts, buttons, hats, etc.
Same beer inside the can, though. If you like Miller and don't like Beast, then the millions Miller spent on marketing is working on you...
No...it's just a gimmick of names. It's actually a cheap beer...but those cans can fall out of the sky at any moment and squish you....maybe for even daring to ask this question. Hopefully not for answering it though.

it's not even the best in Milwaukee!! THAT would be Pabst Blue Ribbon. [very good, cheap also] My favorite beer in the world is Paulaner Hefeweizen [from Germany]. I happen to prefer wheat ales.

I'm from Mil town and I wouldn't even consider The Beast to be beer. It's closer to gasoline.

It is the best if you only have a few bucks and need a lot of beer, it is very cheap, and for good reason.

Secondly, it is a lower end beer, not even a very good beer.
