Listerine is 21.6% alcohol, which makes it 43.2 proof. It would take a while to get drunk from it, but it's possible. On the other hand, by the time he actually got a buzz off of it, he'd probably be throwing up already.
Yes you can I have never actually done it but we have some Alcoholics in Vancouver that drink it if they can't afford booze then they buy Listerine or Windex, so gross. I did down a little Listerine when I was like 7 because I liked the taste though, I don't remember how I felt after though. I would say don't get too mad unless your child did it specifically to get drunk, if he/she didn't know maybe just sit down and have a talk about how bad it is for him/her to do that, make it a long one just so they know whats going on and that's punishment enough in my oppinion.

yep, you sure can.never triend it myself and dont plan on it but i have seen on the news cops arresting people for getting drunk on listerene.
No I don't really think he would get drunk, maybe sick as a dog, I would read the lable to see if he drinks alot what it would say to do. But lady, if your kid is drinking mouthwash, you got more problems then just that. He's looking to replace something that he doesn't have right now. I would bet that he smokes alittle maryjane, or much worse. If this was my boy, he and the old man would be out behind the shed and he would be picking out what branch of the tree he wants for himself. Tell him to straighten up, and act like boys are suppose to act, what the hell is going on in this world today? My old Grandma would make him a drink that he wouldn't touch again, he would be in the bathroom for a few days taking up reading if you know what I mean. GOOD LUCK Mam,

You can get drunk on ANYTHING that contains alcohol if you drink enough.
I would certainly ground your kid for a week to teach him that it is really not a good idea to get drunk.
I am sure you can get a buzz off of it. I know in a lot of towns homeless or alcoholics hang outside of the $ store. They then buy mouth wash for $1 to drink straight. It must be cheap and does the job.
