What's wrong with this plan?!
Is there a downside I'm not seeing?
Answers: I'm going to teach my son to drink early. Just on red wine, but he'll eventually work his way up to rum, then to everclear (slowly, so as to avoid brain damage). By the time he's a teen, he'll hold his liquor better than anyone he knows!
Is there a downside I'm not seeing?
Sounds like the perfect plan. It'll only make him smarter, donchaknow.
"...it's like this... A herd of buffalo can only move as fast as the slowest buffalo. And when the herd is hunted, it is the slowest and weakest ones at the back that are killed first This natural selection is good for the herd as a whole, because the general speed and health of the whole group keeps improving by the regular killing of the! weakest members. In much the same way, the human brain can only operate as fast as the slowest brain cells. Excessive intake of alcohol, as we know, kills brain cells. But naturally, it attacks the slowest and weakest brain cells first. In this way, regular consumption of beer eliminates the weaker brain cells, making the brain a faster and more efficient machine. That's why you always feel smarter after a few beers."
Downside??? How about a simple.....Duh da Duh!! LOL...however, I have a deep feeling you are just being silly.. ; )
By the time he's a teen!? haha
Yes there is a down-side!
The downsides...
It is illegal depending on where you live and his age.
He can become dependent on it(addicted).
The liver damage from drinking it.
You can get him confiscated and yourself thrown in jail(back to the legality issue)
Wow, you are very cruel.
You skipped beer. He'll psychologically damaged due to his having deprived.
You are a dick
no downside. Except my parents started me on beer. You might want to try that first. Hey, I have lived longer than I thought I would. There are plenty of brain cells to kill before anyone notices.
Yeah, your son is going to be pi$$ed when he has to spend $40 to get drunk while his friends are doing it for $5. I've got a great tolerance, and I wish I didn't. Being a cheap date saves you a lot of money.
Children in France are given small amounts of wine every night a dinner (Mixed with different amounts of water depending how old they are).
An experiment performed in the late 90's determined that there was no significant difference between teens who were given alcohol at a young age and those who weren't.
How well an individual holds their own against alcohol is determined by their physical traits/genealogy.
