Is being twenty one worth all the anticipation, or is it just overrated?!
Answers: I'm 20..
It all depends on your friends. I pretty much did all the same things when I was 21 that I ded when I was twenty, except now I didn't have to lie about it.
I say hang out with your friens and go out and have fun. 20, 21, or 51 makes no defference.
i think it's overrated
it's just a year for legally drinking
Way overrated!
I don't drink at all and I'm 25... So I wasn't anticipating it.
It's something great to look forward to, and for awhile after you turn 21 it's awesome. But then you just feel old :P
You do get to drink legally. Have you already drunk alcohol? Its not that different except you get to flash your ID in a bar. There are some contracts you can enter into legally, but watch out, just because the law says you are an adult doesn't make you prepared to deal with every contract that comes along. I think drinking is vastly overrated, they do a wonderful job of selling it as something thats fun but waking up feeling good, and feeling good all day from NOT drinking is a lot better.
way overrated.i drank way before 21.when i was 21 i was preggo so i really didn't care.now i'm 30 and i could care less.
well... i'll be 21 in 23 days and I am sooooo excited. My friends and family are all over 21 and I never get to go out with them. So for me, I'll be having so much fun. YAHOO!
over rated, once u turn 21 there isnt an age to look forward to anymore, at u have the rest of your life to have the benefits of being 21.
Yeah I agree with TinaT.... The anticipation is great, turning 21 is a blast, the next year or so is a blast, then once you get to be 22-23...you just feel old.
So enjoy it while you can.
it's overrated
I think sometimes you just feel a little let down by it. You start thinking it's a magic number and you can do anything you want, and then you realize, you've been doing what you want since you were 18.
The up-side to being over 21.... even at the age of 42, I still get carded. Even though it's WAY obvious that I'm over 21! lol
When I was 18, people tried to serve me alcohol, because I looked older. That was always a thrill for me.... even though I admitted my true age, and just had water or soda. lol
Enjoy being young. If I could turn a magic dial, and make myself younger.... I'd probably go back to when I was 18. That was a fun age.
21 one of the good ones.
18 was good (im a smoker)
16 was good (driving).
Those are just milestones which make activies legal for a person. I know when I turned 21, my unc came to take me to my first bar. It was special.
OVERRATED! No big deal.
