What do people add to their beer?!

Question:

What do people add to their beer?

I've heard of people adding tomato juice what else do people add?

Answers:
Depending on the beer, some form of citrus, be it orange, lemon, or lime. Generally, though, I don't add anything. If a beer has to be doctored to be enjoyed, (with the mild exception of those generally served with citrus,) then it doesn't deserve to be consumed.

Only salt for me, some people add black pepper

A slice of lemon

Tabasco :)

You can also add many sauces, such as: english sauce, soy, chili sauce. In Mexico that's how we prepare micheladas: cold beer plus sauces with lemon, salt and salsa valentina... mmmmmhhhh!!!!

Olives!

Extra Spicy Clamato Juice and Lemon...

lime for me.

salt, lime, orange.

Rasperry juice or essense of woodruff is often used for some wheat beers.

I think what you are referring to is generally called a "red eye". There are a lot of other drinks made from beer mixtures. How about champange and stout. Called black silk or something like that.

Tobasco and lime! Booyah achieved!

Sometimes I add Sprite or 7-Up to make it tastes like a shandy & with a slice of lemon.

....shandy yes yes yes!!!! if you can find good jamaican ginger beer there is nothing like it on a hot day! 1 part ginger beer 4 parts real beer and some ice....ginger ale or sprite can be used but it's not the same......also for the fiery type a shot of rye whiskey puts some punch into a cold beer

I like mine with Lemon lime salt or just plain salt. Also I recently came across a shooter drink that you can add to any type of beer you wish, it is called hotshots and it comes in three or four flavors. I found them to be really good

Raw egg, supposed to be good for hangovers

I don't usually add anything to beer, the occasional lime slice but that's about it.

Salt and Lime to Coronas.
Orange to a blue moon.

A michilada is a mixture of Tecate beer with salt, black pepper, lime juice, and tabasco sauce.

flower

(two lips!)

depends on the beer. if you're drinking blue moon most people add a slice of orange to it. but actually the other night someone accidently poured keg beer into my rockstar thinkingi was drinking beer...and it tasted really really good. haha so idk try it if you'd like...maybe i was just too drunk to taste it if it were gross, but its worth a try.

if you have to add something to a BEER, its not worth drinking. but thats just my opinion.

just saliva as it passes over my lips. maybe lime in corona, or dos equis.

If you really like beer and drink a quality beer with a distinct flavor, then there would never be a reason to ruin it by adding something so disgusting as tomato juice. Although I do like a really good Bloody Mary.

I add clamato to cheap beer to kill how bad it tastes. For a good un-filtered wheat beer,a slice of lemon is good.Lime in Corona is good, but a lime in any full flavored pilsner is nice.Ales are already sweeter and don't need anything. But usually I add nothing to a good beer. The taste should stand on its own in a quality beer.

black pepper, lime, lemon, salt, hot sauce, tomato juice, flavored schnapps, there are many things!!!

salt or liquor

What sort of sick twisted pervert adds stuff to perfectly fine beer? Whats the world coming to? No wonder the great US of A is crumbling if you dont know how to enjoy beer in a civilized way!!!!!
