Sweetest wine?!

Question:

Sweetest wine?

I'm not a big wine drinker. I've tried to acquire the taste for white and red wine but I can't find one I like.

What is the sweetest or most tasteful wine you know of?

Answers:
Usually when people begin drinking wine, they start with chilled whites like chardonnay and pinot grigio. As your palate evolves, you progress to room-temperature whites and chilled reds to cellar-temperature reds.

An underrated white wine is German reisling. It goes great with any dinner and because of its low alcohol content, it's easy to drink and won't get you too drunk to get home. It often has a pleasant honeylike taste with some citrus notes.

When you graduate to reds, start with a lighter red like a merlot or a beaujolais. Then you'll be ready for the meatier reds, such as cabernet sauvignon and pinot noir -- the latter is often regarded as the king of wines. Cabernet is my favorite red, especially with a steak or a nice red sauce.

Happy drinking! E-mail me with any questions you have.

Sweetest doesn't necessarilly mean best, but you could try some Lambrusco, which is sweet and bubbly, or Fragolino (made from strawberries). They are really good.

my favorite wine is rosemount merlot from australia. its not expensive and has a very soft, berry taste. of course australia is not knowen for their wines, many places like france, italy and chile also make excellent wines... also a VQA from Canada is great too...

Ice Wine...Really nice to enjoy after dinner along with fruit and cheese....Very Sweet and Flavourful...A dessert in itself...

Sweetest and most tasteful are two different things.

Sweetest- ICE WINE and PLUM WINE

Tasteful - Mas Igneus PRIORAT / TIM ADAM'S- THE FERGUS.

Your best bet is to goto a wine tasting and try some "fruity" white wine...

Try a white zinfandel. Not a dry wine, but not overly sweet either.

Try Sangria - it is a Spanish red wine that is mixed with fruit and fruit juices. It is very tasty, and the fruit cuts the wine taste.

I dont think your really after the sweetest wine if your just sarting out on wine as most of the desert wines are like drinking straight cordial and are extremly sweet. (Debortoli noble 1 is sensational at a reasonable cost) Maybe start off with something like a Brown Bros Crouchen & Riesling or Spatlese Lexia these are nice and sweet and easy to drink.(too sweet for me) or try some spumante like Riccadonna(Yum) or something mixed with strawberries like Fresita strawberry wine experiment and enjoy!

I like a red Italian sweet wine called Aleatico. The best one is made in the island of Elba. Apart for drinking it's particularly nice for dipping crunchy biscuits in it like the Italian 'Biscotti di Prato (Prato's buiscuits or Cantucci)'. Other very good ones white are Moscato and Passito.

I've been a bartender for over 20 years, try this one and you will love it, I guarantee. muscato d'asti NOT asti spumante or any cheap crap like that, ask specifically for a muscato d'asti the muscato grape has 10 times the natural sugar than other grapes, this semi sparkling wine is absolutely fantastic.

Ice Wine is definately the sweetest, but a normal sized bottle of good ice wine will run you around 80 bucks!! I have a 187ml bottle (basically 1/4 of a regular bottle) and it cost 22 bucks. Not only the price, but i could down this whole little bottle in about 5 seconds and i wont even feel a buzz. Try reisling, its like white grape juice with alcohol. Good ones available for 10-20 dollars. Happy drinking!!

Try some German whites like Riesling and Gewurztraminer. Dessert wines such as Sauternes are also good to try.

sauterne's are a very sweet wine..usually paired with desserts...ice wine of course is sweet but beeeeaaaauuutiful!!!!

Druid's Fluid! available online at http://www.troonvineyard.com/

Beringer's White Zinfindel is a really good wine to start with....not expensive, sweet but not too sugary... Good Luck!

you have to go to the store and ask for a dessert wine , they are the sweetest but if you drink to much of it you can get the sickest !

People who are new to drinking wines often prefer sweet wines (the opposite of dry wines). Many people also continue to enjoy sweet wines. Riesling is a sweet white wine that is good to drink with spicy foods or just to sip. Zinfandels can be very fruity and on the sweet side as well. However, the sweetest wines are dessert wines such as Muscat, Sherry, and Port.

An unusual dessert wine that is bursting with raspberry flavors is Bonny Doon Vineryard's Framboise "Infusion of Raspberry". You can purchase this at their website for $10 a bottle right now....though it is a half size bottle (common with dessert wines). https://www.bonnydoonvineyard.com/...
