There's a really great Brandy made in California, but I can't recall its name. Does anyone know?!

Question: E&J XO Brandy Vintage Reserve is pretty good, and around $25/bottle.

Carneros Alambic and Germain-Robin also come to mind.

I think California brandies are on the verge of becoming world-class, but I stay away from the ones made from inferior grapes like the Thompson seedless.

I just remembered, there's also Jepson. I haven't tried it, but it's getting great reviews. Terrible name, though, I think!
