Sky vodka.... is it just me or does it taste like rubbing alcohol?!
Answers: I agree with you. Cheap vodka has that kind of taste to it. You know vodka is good when you can't smell it. That means it has been filtered better. My personal favorite vodkas are Vox, Level and Effen....I think Grey Goose is overrated.

I don't remember if I thought it was that bad, but I felt very jipped because it's supposedly premium, but it was VERY unimpressive.
The perfect liquor for me is flavored rum or flavored vodka. You won't taste the alcohol, and your drinks will be rich in flavor. Mix like-flavors (orange rum/orange soda) if you're intimidated at pairing flavors.
People do not have to pay $30 for some good 'drank.
