Red Label is low level Scotch. Black label is better. Chivas Regal is similar quality. These are blended whiskeys. My friends prefer single malts: Glen Livet, Glen Fiddich, Glen Morangie. Any Glen is good.

Round here, we all drink bourbon. Knob Creek is our brand.

Stay away from Tequila and Rum. That's for squares.

Johnnie Walker Scotch Whiskey
theres several varieties. From cheapest to most expensive they are,

Red
Black
Green
Gold
Blue

Drambuie(scottish whiskey liqueur) - but only use one cube of ice(enough to cool it but not enough to dilute it)

Jack Daniels/ Johnnie Walker for whiskey
Heineken for beer
Absolut for Vodka

I like Michael Collins irish Whiskey.....nice lightly sweet....I drink it on the rocks....more than I should...and it's like $30 a litre....available at most medium to upper level liqour shops. for Scotch Bellevine is good about $80 a litre.

a bottle of Jack Daniels or Jim Bean is all I need for liquor trust. They mix well with coke.
if I really need some to get me ripped then Jagar works, but for smooth taste overall its Market Brand Whiskey or some Gray Goose.

If you have an unlimited budget, I'd recommend Johnnie Walker Blue Label, but any Scotch is good enough for me.

Acme beer.

Tequila Rose is good alone, along with Jim Bean and Jack Daniels. It all depends on what you would prefer for taste:)

Life is too short to drink cheap whiskey....Crown Royal or Tangle Ridge is best over ice....

The McCallan single malt scotch, Blanton's single barrel bourbon, Remy Martin cognac

Van Winkle 12 if you can afford it
Gorge Dickel 12 if you can't

Go with a nice XO cognac....
