Has anyone ever tried Amaretto and Baileys ??!
Answers: I have heard of a shot that is half amaretto and half Baileys, i was wondering if anyone had ever tried it? Does the amaretto make the Baileys go all lumpy like when you mix it with lime juice?
Wow, I actually had to look this one up. There are two that I found that just had pretty much half Amaretto half Irish Cream.
The first on is called "Homecoming" and it is 1oz. (half shot, 2count) of Amarreto and 1oz. of Irish Cream, shaken, chilled and shot. Really sweet tasting shot.
The other will make the shot curdle ("go lumpy"). It is called the "Cuddler"
1 oz. Irish Cream
3/4 oz. Amaretto
Heat in Microwave for 7-9 seconds.

But to answer your question, no I haven't tried it...yet. May never on the Cuddler, I don't have microwave at the bar I work at...lol!
Ugh. Amaretto belongs in sours. Bailey's is best w/ milk or hot cocoa.
No, the shot will not curdle.
There are other recipes calling for these 2 ingredients together that are pretty tasty.
A B52 is Bailey's, Amaretto & Kahlua.
An ABC Pousse Cafe (layered drink) is Amaretto, Baileys & Cointreau.
