What is the strongest alcoholic drink available at most bars?
What would you say is the strongest drink you can find at most bars - for example, if i ask for it - they will know what i am talking about... it is a common drink.
For example, a Long Island Iced Tea... Jack and Coke... etc...

Probably Absinthe. You wont get it in all bars, but they will defeinately know what you are asking for. Its about 80% with an aniseed flavour

Well you got a couple of choices...one you can ask for shooters of Everclear...this high grain alcohol will not only clean tape heads but will also effectively f**k you up if not kill you out right. Second is just ask for 151 rum and coke...this is also a great recipe for death or a slow slide into drooling retardation. If all else fails, just slap a couple of twenties on the bar and tell the barman to fill you up a high ball with a shot of wild turkey, everclear, 151, and whatever else looks tempting and oh yeah throw in a splash of coke for giggles....knock back entire concoction, do not sip you pansy! Recline on floor and wait for the ambulance.
i think that absenth is a strong drink you can get black absenth and its 80% or cannabis absenth which is 70% ibiza has alot of it, if you go there some time go to escanar and there a shop near hotel erreso and they selll alot of goods.
Most bars won't carry Everclear, and most people won't drink Turkey 101. The best thing would be anything with Bacardi 151. It's very common and can be added to almost anything.... 151 and coke, Long Island with 151, basically anything that includes rum in the recipie. Other than that most alcohols are 80 proof. You can mix in a shot Bacardi 151 and Turkey 101, and it is called a 252. (absolutely disgusting though). Most anyone who is "on a mission" to get drunk will drink shots and chase them with beer. Another way is to ask for a shot of 151 with a "coke back". This would imply that you do not want an entire glass of coke, but only enough to chase the shot.
martini's and anything on the rocks are pure liquor but next would be a Long Island. You can always get a Boiler maker or Irish car bomb and mix beer with your liquor.
Also you can get a double if you want. Not a tall. Most people think that when they order a tall they are getting a stronger drink and actually they are just getting a taller glass and the same amount of liquor. A double means double the amount of alcohol. If you want to save yourself a trip but no skimp on the liquor you want a double tall.
You also have to take into considerating as I am sure you know about the content of alchol in certen liquor. Everclear is about the strongest you can buy, you can mix that with some cranberry.
PS: Absinthe is illegal in the states as is moonshine so you cant get them in the bars.
Most places do not serve an alcohol higher than 80 proof (applebees, friday's, etc.) those are the 'most common bars' you will find. I would go with a double Jack (or any other spirit that mixes well) and coke short. Basicly all liqour, and a splash of whatever. Common single liqour drinks are usually cheaper than shots, even when long-poured. So order two at once; pound them, and be gone.
