What California Chardonnay is most similar to Montrachet in style?!

Question: I would say Marcassin, but it soooooo difficult to get. I amhoping for something a little more widely available. I lean towards Batard, but any Monty style will do....

Jumpin' Jeezuz! Are you people high?!?
Ok, duh, I know what Chardonnay is but have NO IDEA what Montrachet is so....duh, duh, duh - 2 buck Chuck, er, Veramonte, some cheap swill from Chile. What - do you work for them?
anyway...

Wow, big shoes to fill...
I find the following to be reminiscent, and reasonably available:
Fransiscan Estate 'Cuvee Sauvage'
Newton 'Unfiltered'
Chalone Estate (maybe more Meursault-like? yummy!)
Mer Soleil
Rochioli (don't know if available where you are??)

And, of course, Kistler 'Dutton Ranch' - good luck getting that one!

Try Charles Shaw Chardonnay or any of the Australia/New Zealand Chardonnays You can find them at Trader Joe's

Try Veramonte - it is delightful and easy to find as is the new release from Golden Gate. Cheers!

You got me on this one
