I heard the drinkin age was goin up to 21 soon is this true??!

Question: If so when ??

Answers: If so when ??

Personally i think

If one is old enough to vote, then one is old enough for everything else

Its been up honeybuns! It already happened about ten years ago.

Where are you? It's been 21 in the USA since before prohibition.

It already is...

it isnt in the UK - still 18 but if you look under 21 you will be ID'd

Hearsay!

i think this is going off the back of the smoking age going up to 18.

If it does, the government will lose out on a lot of tax revenue, now theyve lost the smokers, they wouldn't lose a big batch of drinkers too!!

where are you from-- it's already 21 in the US!

in the u.k? or somewhere else? arrggghhh nooo! lol nt england ive onli jus turned 18!!! lol =D

alwys has been, 21

Where are you from? In Pennsylvania it is 21. Personally, I think it should be 21 in all states. There has been an especially high number of traffic fatalities in the mid-state involving teen-agers and alcohol. It's miserable with the loss of so many young lives.

Hopefully in the UK as soon as possible, although it is 18 at the moment.

it dose not matter what age you put it up to. shops will still sell it to under aged kids.

The governments always waits until this country starts to fall apart before anything is done about it.

Bring back the National Front

they always talk about it but it wont happen the government makes too much money of it and frankly i think it's rediculous to have it at 21 like in the US. Think about it 18 year olds over there want to party and have a good time but they cant drink what do u think they r gonna do they go out and get drugs instead no wonder there is such a drug problem over there and to think the government would allow an 18 year old kid to have a gun but not think they are mature enough to have a couple of drinks is a joke.

haven't heard if it is being raised to 21 (in uk) or when but hopefully it will be soon.

dunno but they're stoppin offers in supermarkets like 2 for 1 and 50% off in relation to booze so there are bigger things to worry about!

Wow! Ya'll have been able to drink at a younger age for quite some time. Why are they trying to raise it?

I know that here in America, there are a lot of fatalities because of drinking. Some are caused by underaged drinking, some caused by other people who think they're fit to drive when they can't even walk a straight line to the loo.

Sorry for not having an answer for you, on that one. I'd text my friend in the Newcastle area and ask him, but it's almost midnight there, and I don't think his wife would appreciate a text that late at night. lol
