Answers: King Louis the 6th, how much is it & where do I get it

If its Louis XIII,

The cognac is manufactured using grapes from the Grande Champagne of Cognac. It is blended from eaux de vie, some more than a century in age, then it is aged in "tiercons," barrels that are several hundred years old, in its own cellar.

A bottle of Louis XIII may be priced as high as $2,000(US) however average price range is between $1,300 to $1,500. The handblown crystal decanter (by Baccarat) alone sells for approximately $100. The limited edition 'Spectaculaire' comes in a decanter embedded with a diamond, ranging from 4 to 4,75 carat (800 to 950 mg). The company recommends dealers to sell the limited edition for around $43,800.

I don't think there is a King Louis the 6th Whiskey. There is a Louis XIII Cognac. Its officially called "King Louis XIII de Rémy Martin". Its supposed to be delicious, the people at remy martin say "its not a cognac, its a moment." Ha Ha. Its crazy expensive at the ALAIN DUCASS restaurant in the ST. REGIS HOTEL in NEW YORK a 2 oz. serving is $198! Each bottle is supposedly made with a thousand different cognacs and therefore helped made by 10,000 laborers...
