On the rocks!

1. place 2 ice cubes in small glass.
2. pour about 4-5 oz. of rum on top of the ice cubes.
3. drink.
4. repeat steps 1-3 several times.

take that Captain Morgain and find some ginger beer (not ginger ale, but still a soft drink). Mix in equal parts for a Dark n Stormey... also very good with black seal rum

rum and coke, long islands rum punch
sangria

or malibu rum is great with any and fruit juices

A strawberry dacari, of course!

A daiquiri is a traditional Latin American drink, created with rum and fruit. I happen to adore strawberry daquiris. Here is a recipe for you to make your own.
-------------------------
2oz rum
1oz lime juice
6 ice cubes
4 strawberries, sliced
2 tsp sugar

Blend all together in blender until smooth. Serve and enjoy with a strawberry slice!

You can substitute different fruit, add or subtract the lime/lemon juice, or buy a dacari mixture and just add the rum.

Google "Mojito"
In my opinion, the ONLY rum drink...

Cheers!

Captain Morgan, with another on top and with some ice.

Coconut rum and pineapple juice.

When it comes to white rum, Mojito's seem to be the new black.

(This is a recipe that I have actually implemented, not found off a website.) Muddle 5 to 6 mint leaves, half lime cut into a few slices and a tablespoon of sugar (powdered dissolves best, raw tastes better) It's helps muddling with a few pieces of ice, because it takes some of the strain off of you and helps to extract more of the mint & lime flavor. Also, avoid muddling in a glass to prevent breakage. (I've seen wicked cuts happen) Use a mortar & pestal or muddle in a shaker. Add 1?oz. of premium white rum and a scoop of ice. Shake and top with club soda or sparkling water (I know some folks prefer theirs with Pellegrino.) Garnish with a lime wheel and mint sprig or a piece of sugar cane (it's great suck on after you've finished your drink.)

You can substitute an artificial sweetener or add different fruits or herbs for a bit of variety. I like adding fresh ginger, sorrel or berries to the mix.

I personally prefer Frozen Strawberry Colada's. It's Just a Strawberry Daiquiri with Cream of Coconut added. These things are scrumptous.

For the spiced rum I second the Dark & Stormy. I had them for the first time a golf club a few years back.
