What are the best beers in the US?

Wide open question.................
Depending on where you live there are different "micro-breweries" that produce some amazing craft brews.
That being said, you'll no doubt have a rabid following of beer fans extolling the virtues of their local micro in let's say Montana, while myself being from PA will never have had the opportunity to try their golden nectar (and vice-versa).
Some of the best that I've had are Scarlett Lady ESB from Stoudt's brewery in Adamstown, PA, Redhook ESB from Washington State, Climax Nut Brown Ale from NJ, Victory Hop Devil Ale from PA, and Anchor Steam and Anchor Liberty Ale from San Fran.
Depending on the style of beer you like, try a local micro-brew, it may well be one of the best you've ever had.

Coors Light hands down
Anchor Steam
Oasis ESB is amazing.
Black & Tan
Sierra Nevada
Rolling Rock or Yuengling
Try a wide variety from the New Belgium Brewery. Fat Tire and 1554 are two of my favorites.
Fat tire is one of my favorites. Several of the New Belgium varieties are excellent. Some people love stuff like New Castle brown ale, it's a lot like Sierra Nevada. I like Shiner Bock too. I like beers that are smooth with flavor, but not as much bite as Sierra Nevada for instance. For myself I would stick to water if Coors silver bullets was all I could get.
brooklyn lager is just great but there are many very good beers that are only available regionally so its tough to pick a "best" beer best selling beers however are budweiser bud light coors light miller lite in no particular order
Home made beers! You can make them taste how you like and as strong as you want!
I prefer either Alaskan Amber or Alaskan Brewing Co's IPA. Both very very good!
