Wine Question?!

Question:

Wine Question?

What is a really good fruit wine? Would red or white be fruitier???

Answers:
I am going to assume by fruity you mean not dry. Go to a liquor store and ask for recommendations such as these and see if this works for you. These can be quite decadent!

For reds, a Port (vintage or tawny) or a very ripe California Pinot Noir (not nearly as sweet), or a Beaujolais from France.

For whites, a nice German Reisling (Dr. Pauly Bergweiler is delicious as of late), or a French Sauternes/Barsac (gobs of fruity hedonism).

These should be a good start. Be adventurous and avoid White-Zin!

In my opinion, red wines usually have more flavor and complexity, but in this category, whites really can shine! Expirement and decide which you like best!

reisling! its sooooooo good! it takes apple-y. its white zinfindel. youll love it!

Maybe white wines? If you're looking for something sweet/fruity, try ice wine. After I started drinking this, I only crave this type of wine. It's very sweet, expensive(usually a small bottle for about $20, by small I mean about 6oz.), and a bit hard to find. Some wine bars have them, ABC stores have one brand, and World Market has a couple.

Riesling or Gewurztraminer

I don't know i only drin red wine.

all dessert wines are frutier and sweeter
