A good German Pilsner. Not to sweet, but not bitter because all German beers are brewed WITHOUT rice while most American pilsners are brewed with rice, thus the bitter taste. Also the German pilsner may be served at 40 to 45 degrees, thus, enhancing the taste of the meat.
Probably Becks would work or a Lowenbrau or Henniger.
