How do you make a 'good' frozen margarita??!

Question: In my humble opinion, a 'good' Margarita does not use any mix or artificial juice... you want an authentic Margarita, there is no crushed ice, but if you want an authentic 'Frozen' Margarita... here goes:

3oz silver tequila
1oz FRESH lime juice
1 and a half oz COINTREAU, (Triple Sec is hogwash)

2 cups crushed ice

Put the ice, tequila, Cointreau and lime juice in a blender... start on slow, then keep increasing the speed until on high, and when the concoction looks like a Slurpee, pour it into a large goblet that has been rimmed with kosher salt(To rim the glass, rub a lime wedge around the rim and place it upside down in a saucer of salt) Add a lime wedge to the rim... viola! An AUTHENTIC frozen Margarita.... by the way, that is a double for most people... ;-)

by the way... a Margarita is NOT Spanish... it is Mexican... tequila is not from Spain!!!

Blender, Rose's Lime, Triple Sec, Tequila, and ice. Pretty simple really. Put a little salt on the rim of the glass. Don't ask the exact mix....I wing it.

You can cut the back on the lime juice and use other fruit like peach or strawberry.

Here's a recipe that's easy to make from home!
All you need is tequila, triple sec, a can of frozen lime aid and ice. You can add other frozen fruits if you wanted a different flavor!

The best kind of margarita is a Cadillac Margarita. They are the most expensive at restaraunts and bars.

    Here are the ingredients:
    1 1/2 oz. Patron Tequila
    1/2 oz. Cointreau
    1/2 oz. Grand Marnier
    1 oz. Lime Juice
    Bar Salt

    Garnish - Lime Squeeze

Rim a margarita or highball glass with lime and coat with salt. Next, fill the glass with ice and set aside. In a shaker with ice combine Tequila, Cointreau, & Lime Juice. Shake well a strain into the glass. Float the Grand Marnier on top, and squeeze the lime and drop it in.

Make sure you use some Patron Silver!!
