What are some 'manly' mixed drinks?!

Question:

What are some 'manly' mixed drinks?

Just wondering what are some good type of mixed drinks for men, that won't get you beat up when you ask for it at a bar. Thanks!

Answers:
I take it you prefer something with some sweetness. If not, the traditional martini (with gin)is the manliest drink ever. For a stylish twist, try a Vesper. This is the "James Bond" martini. It is a Vodka martini, shaken, not stirred with a twist of lemon peel.

If, as I guessed first, you want a drink that appears manly, but has the sweetness that wussy drinkers (much like myself) prefer, just go with a Jack and Coke, or, if you don't like whiskey, a Bacardi Gold and Coke. Go for the style points on the rum and coke by ordering a Cuba Libre. This is just a rum and Coke with a twist of lime. Happy drinking!

who cares what ppl think if its good?!

margaritas!

If you like whiskey, you could try a Manhattan which is pretty manly. Martinis are popular too if you like either vodka or gin - James Bond always ordered them and I don't think anyone would try to beat him up!

Mixed drinks? Like whiskey and ice? lol

jameson press (presbyterian with jameson wiskey)
in fact any mixed drink with whiskey is okay, like whiskey sour, or whiskey and coke.

depending on the situation, a gin and tonic is usually acceptable, unless there are alot of cowboys in the room.

and if you really like dirty martinis, just ask for it "in a bucket" so that people wont know you got a martini

Scotch and soda, gin and tonic with lime, whiskey sour, seven and seven, long iced tea, rum and coke. As a general rule stick with simpler things that are not too sweet.

Let's see...Whiskey Sour, Mudslide, Manhattan, Martini (but not one of the foo-foo Martinis), Black Russian, Screwdriver, and you can usually get away with ordering a Margarita.

Vodka or gin martini. Vodka gimlet (vodka with lime juice). Manhattan (bourbon and sweet vermouth). Vodka tonic, gin & tonic. Anything is okay except foo-foo drinks with sissy names or pink in color. But you really should drink what you like. I have served many long island ice teas - mostly to guys. Although foo-foo, it is made of pure liquor and is synonymous with being "tough". Enjoy!

I think I would go to another bar.

Usually men drink the ones that aren't filled with sugar.

Martini, scotch, most anything straight up.

As a guide, if it has a little umbrella in it, then watch out for the bikers at the bar. Sally

A manly drink common in the midwest is the blue mutherf----r. It has gin, rum, vodka, and blue curacco. If it's mixed right, it will only have a slight blue tint and not be full of ice. A good shot is the new york minute. It has 151 and baily's, and should be ignited by your bartender before he serves it to you. Of course any dark liquor and dark pop is pretty rugged too (bourbon especially).

Jack & Coke, Beam & Coke, Rum & Coke, Long Island, Gin & Tonic, Scotch & Water, Whiskey on the rocks, etc............

scotch straight up is ideal. Forget mixed drinks, those are for girls.

wiskey straigt, that will put hair on your chest

Wild Turkey 101 is the goods

Torpedo Juice.

Redbull and Everclear.

caribou lou

In my opinion, you can never go wrong with a good old fashioned Long Island Iced Tea. It's not too sweet and will definitely knock you on your *** if made correctly.

Mixed drinks.....

Whiskey and water
Bourbon and water
Whiskey with a beer chaser
Bourbon with a beer chaser

Get the idea?

OK, true mixed drinks....Whiskey Sour, Martini (Gin, not Vodka)

Stay away from drinks served with umbrellas and fruit sticks.

martinis, vanilla rum and coke, baileys on the rocks

Boiler maker

I usually see guys with any type of Martini, Crown Royale and coke, 151 & punch, Jack Daniels and coke, Hennessy w/ Hypnotic, Hennessy w/ cranberry juice, cranberry juice and vodka....Just take a shot of Patron Silver chilled!

mixed drinks are for pussys.... man or woman. if you're gonna drink, then drink, dont fool around with it
