And what pray tell is wrong with Bourbons? All Bourbons are Whisky, but not all Whisky's are Bourbon. To be a Bourbon, the whiskey needs to follow a set of guidelines to become America's Native Sprit. Most Bourbons are straight which means that only that Bourbon is in the bottle. Whereas other Whiskey's such as Canadian, Irish, and Scotch are blends of many different whisky's and neutral grain sprits blended together to achieve a certain taste. My favorite whisky is Maker's Mark. Or is it Buffalo Trace. Or Wild Turkey Rare Breed?? Good golly, I love to many Bourbons. I better switch to beer.

If bourbon isn't proper than it must be single malt Scottish whisky.
Too many to choose from, but my top distilleries are probably Talisker, Spingbank/Longrow, Brora, Edradour and Rosebank.
Get Te Bheag for a cheap blend and you'll thank me for it. Walker Green is good too, if not too smooth and flat.
