yeah--it sure does. I'm 38 and have had social drinks around my parents before, but last year when on vacation and after several happy hour drinks and shooters, I was enjoying the ocean waves crashing and the breeze on the balcony and I decided to call my parents to say hi. Boy did I have diarrhea of the mouth and start telling my mom all the things my best friend and I did in high school, like leaving school early our senior year and going into the city to happy hour every Thursday. (And yes, sometimes the truth can be stuff the other person doesn't want to hear--you're just being honest without censoring yourself like you'd probably do if not drunk.) That's one reason why they say your inhibitions are lowered--you're not inhibited from speaking the truth.
Haha unfortunately yes it does. When you are drunk your brain does not realize what you are saying is embarrassing or hurtful and you essentially say what is on your mind. Be careful with the creature.
