What is bad/negative in beer?!

Question: What an interesting question. When used in proper moderation there is nothing bad in beer. In fact "The moderate consumption of alcohol, including beer, is associated with a decreased risk of cardiac disease, stroke and cognitive decline.[26][27][28][29]

Brewer's yeast is known to be a rich source of nutrients; therefore, as expected, beer can contain significant amounts of nutrients, including magnesium, selenium, potassium, phosphorus, biotin, and B vitamins. In fact, beer is sometimes referred to as "liquid bread".[30] Some sources maintain that filtered beer loses much of its nutrition.[31][32]"

Used in excess anything... beer included can have negative effects. It can cause liver disease, pancreatitis and gout for example. But on the other hand a Japanese study showed " that low alcohol beer may possess strong anti-cancer properties."

The key thing to remember is that used properly beer and other alcohols are great things. Used improperly much like anything else there are side effects. Educate yourself. Do research, don't trust just one source and make an informed decision for your self. Below I've include a link to the wiki page where I've used quotes from and below that is a great web site that can give you fair and balance information in regards to alcohol.

Only having 12 onuces in the can, or an empty Keg

Bad and negative are such subjective terms.

I guess there is a case to be made that it is fattening. 7 calories per gram in alcohol compared to carbs or protein which only has 4 calories per gram.

Running out :-(

That's a pretty broad question, but in general it's a matter of taste.

Beers run the spectrum from light to dark, and from malty to hoppy. There are even wheat beers and flavored beers, which will each have their own taste.

Light beers will tend to have a crisper flavor while dark beers will tend to taste more toasted, and on the really dark end of the spectrum will have subtle flavors of coffee and chocolate.

The hoppiness of a beer affects the sharpness of its taste, some people like beers that very very malty (have almost no hops in them) and those will taste a lot like bread. Other people like hoppier beers, the more hops there are in a beer the sharper it will taste.

The one universal thing that is bad in a beer is skunkiness, which means the beer has gone bad basically. The quality of ingredients can be important in the final taste of the beer, but the one universally bad thing is beer that has gone skunky.

An empty keg! Flavorless beer! Megaswill!

All of the yeast.....it is very bloating....and how many people get "beer bellies"......

It's fattening...beer drinkers tend to grow a beer belly. My dad, is a beer drinker and he exercises ALOT, and he has a beer belly still! That's also why I don't drink beer. I'd like to stay slim, thanks (:

You can get your days total supply of vitamins and minerals out of 24 cans of beer. Not much negativity in that.
24 hours in a day......24 cans in a case.....coincidence???

To me...nothing...except running out of it.

You have heard the expression "There is no point shedding tears over spilled milk"?

Well, there is a point in shedding tears over spilled beer!

Empty glasses: a tragedy.

Drinking too much beer!!!!
