Creamy jello shots?!

Question:

Creamy jello shots?

I made jello shots a few weeks ago and they turned out great! I'm making some in a couple of weeks for a party and want to do creamsicle-type shots. Like strawberry & vanilla vodka or orange and vanilla vodka. When making the regular jello shots, you need to add part water, and part liquor (6oz. cold water 10 oz. cold vodka) in place of the cold water you'd normally use when making non-alcoholic jello.

I was wondering if it would be possible to replace the 6 oz. of cold water with cold milk? Would they still set properly?

Answers:
I've tried milk and it's not a good outcome. Keep the water because that's what the jello forms to. Once you get the jello, alcohol water mixture, add Cool Whip or whip cream, and shake to get an even mixture. Pour into shots and your set.

Its more work but add whipped cream to the mix after it is cool than stir and let it set up Creamy shooters :-)

Try with Irish Cream or the knox gelatin and the milk

From what I've heard it might curdle. I would suggest using a different type of liquor take make the taste. Any type of vanilla flavoured liquor would do the trick and give it the flavour of cream.

I would just use whip cream for garnish.

Irish Cream takes up too much room.
Milk or cream doesn't 'set' well.
Use melted vanilla ice cream to replace half the water!
Have fun!
