Can I keep cigars "fresh" in a humindor in my refridgerator?!

Question:

Can I keep cigars "fresh" in a humindor in my refridgerator?

They are in celofane wrappers.

Thank you

Answers:
Don't put them in the frig. the frig by design takes moisture OUT of the air. The best place is in a coolest part of the house IN the humidor and remember to check the water.

Hey I'm Italian..

yes you can...but it's probably better to store them in a humidor that's outside of the fridge!! hope that helps!!

tobacco can be frozen and cigars. put in air tight container and freeze or refrigerate.thawing is not needed.

NO!!! Keep them in a humidor and that is it. Put your humidor somewhere in your house/apartment other than in your fridge or freezer. You want to store them around 70% humidity and 70 degrees F.

You don't want to put them in the fridge ever, that works for cigarettes, but not cigars as they are wrapped in tobacco leaves, and this will make them dry and brittle. If you have a humidor, then what more do you really need. I keep mine in the bottom of my mini bar, and take it out when i have company. Any place that is cool will work fine, even under your bed if you really don't have any place better, as long as they are kept cool and out of a great deal of light.
