Is it legal to sell beer and other alcoholic beverages over the Internet?!

Question: yes because you could be selling it to a minor

Answers: yes because you could be selling it to a minor

Check your sate laws.

In some areas, in others no, the best thing to do is check area regulations and laws

I think it would depend on the selling states laws and the receiving states laws.

Yes as long as you verify age. Most of this is done by credit card names(same as porn sites). BUT if you end up getting caught selling to a minor that you didnt know was a minor, yer still screwed. cause now you broke the law and uncle sam is gonna shaft you for that

Yes it is legal

It depends on the state.

It's more than a little confusing, in that some states allow everything.

Other states allow everything, but hard liquor... while still other states allow wine, but not beer (figure that one out)

Some states are stuck in the Stone Ages and don't allow any types of alcoholic to be sold online.

I've ordered beer online multiple times.. both from companies in The US and one called Belgian Shop located in Belgium.

Your best bet is to check local law

Edit:

Be sure to look into all licensing issues of course as well.

State Laws vary on this. Of course, it has to do with selling alcohol to minors, and also taxes. Don't try selling it unless you check it out.

Yes, unless you live in the Bible belt like me where they make it tough.

No, there are several websites that I frequent that do. But mostly it depends on what state you live in.

www.binnys.com

and

www.beergeek.biz

You will be required to show proof of age at point of deliver however and they will not be able to just leave it on the porch or around back.
