Sprout's right but the only people that can be 100% sure are the makers of Strongbow. Best guess however is no it doesn't. There is a small chance that they don't follow straditional methods strictly. They could use adjuncts like barley, rice or corn to increase fermentable sugars and lower costs at the same time.

Personally, I don't think that they do... but I can't be sure.

I'm pretty sure it doesn't, but if you're allergic i wouldn't bet your life on it.
Is there a number on the pack you can call to ask them (guessing not or they'd have a lot of drunk phonecalls)?

Cider is typically made by grounding down apples & squeezing out the juice. Then, fermentation takes place. No barley is used.

Strongbow is one of the many brands I've sold for in the past. No, they do not use any barley. It is 100% apples.
I imagine you have Celiac disease, if I may be so bold, an allergy to gluten. Strongbow is, most certainly, gluten-free. In fact, that is one way we've been heavily marketing ciders in the States... in the gluten-free sections of supermarkets.

Cheers!

Strongbows list of ingredients is a s follows.

1.The Devil
2. Pure Evil
3. Death
