Can you survive in the desert drinking only Rum or Vodka?!

Question:

Can you survive in the desert drinking only Rum or Vodka?

If liquor dehydrates you, could you still survive in the desert by drinking only Rum or Vodka, instead of water? NO ice, NO coke or orange juice...Just you and 10 cases of Rum or Vodka, straight up.

Answers:
Nope.....you'd be a dehydrayted, drunken lightweight in no time! When I was in Iraq, it'd get up to 150 degrees. We had a daily 4 gallon water intake minimum! When it got cool at night, we'd find some alcohol through certain connections, but the next day was tough if you didn't drink enough water. Plus, we had no refrigeration. All the water was around 100 degrees and hard to drink......Vodka would be horrible!! So, the answer to your question is a big 'ol NO. We tried it.

yea.but u might get kinda sick or drunk

No. You'd get dehydrated really quickly, and eventually die.

I dont think so but u may try ........... what a 'rum vodka' thirst !!!!!

Don't be stupid. Alcohol is very dehydrating and WHY would you want to know something like that anyway? Planning a trip to the Sahara with a case of Smirnoff? Sounds like to me you were bored and just wanted to ask a dumb question. What is it...is your brain permanently on Spring Break?

Only if you had a little umbrella to put in your drink to keep your ice from melting

well for most part no, but for how long are u talking, I would say maybe

mikem33607 IS GAY!

yes, in fact. you totally can. camels have actually been known to drink a half gallon of stoli before heading out on long desert trips. the vodka keeps them relaxed, and helps make fat camels of the opposite sex appear more attractive, thereby increasing the drunk camel population, which is good for all.

No, for the same reason you'll die of thirst if you were on a raft with no fresh water in the middle of a salty ocean. Salt and alcohol are diuretics.

If you can find a way to light it as a beacon so someone comes to rescue you, you might have a chance... But just drinking it, oh no!

You may die of alcohol poisoning.

with all that liquior
i would make a fire and pour it on the fire
so some one would find me at night
