I am thinking about buying a 6pack of beer that I have never had before...?!

Question: What are your thoughts about Drop Top Ale?

Answers: What are your thoughts about Drop Top Ale?

Do you mean Drop Top Amber by Widmer Brothers? Don't know never had it, but they tend to make some pretty OK stuff so I'd take a chance.

If you don't mean the amber... I don't have a clue.

never had it or heard of it let me know how it is though :)

Highly effective. You should also try their Drop Trau Pilsner.

Good idea.
Don't buy a six pack that you've already had before.
The cans will be empty.

I don't drink beer.

Never heard of it before. Try Landshark that's pretty good!

Never heard of it, But if I see it I'll give it a whirl....

i've never tried it before, but if your looking to try new beer don't buy a six-pack. I recommend going to a bar/restaurant that specializesin beer. We have a restaurant in so cal called beer-hunter and it has over 100 different types of beer on tap. You can buy a glass and see if you like it, vs buying the six-pack and being stuck with 5 beers you dont like.

go for it

You shoud definitely try some new beer! Drop Top is an amber ale I believe, it's probably not very complex or strong so it will probably be pretty drinkable. You should seek out a decent liquor store that either sells single bottles or has a section with unrefrigerated single bottles, 6 packs & 22oz bomber bottles. Mix it up a little and try some different beers. Try different styles, take the time to really taste & smell each beer, each style is so different! You can never get bored with beer because there is so much variety. I make it a point to try new stuff at least a couple times a week.
