How come alcohol soothes my heartache?!

Question: I can tell you from experience that booze is only a quick fix. It might make the pain go away for a bit, but it will be there tomorrow. Sometimes you can even make the situation worse by doing something when you were drunk that you would not have done otherwise. Time is really the only thing that will heal a broken heart. Along with that, stay busy! Get a job or hobby or sport that will force you to focus on something else. Spend lots of time with your friends too. They are always there for support. Good luck man. Trust that things will get better and the next one will be even better than this one.

maybe for the moment ...not in the long run, time will only heal it

unfortunately it just numbs your senses/feeling for a while so you don't feel any emotion. You shouldn't rely on alcohol to feel better...it will only cause more health problems in the long term. Talk things out with someone, keep busy and try to distract your mind from the hurt your are feeling. Take care!

It really dosn't...it falsifies you. Then BAM..it's back. The only thing to cure a heartache is TIME. Good ole time!

I know what you mean, I think. Except that too much turns me into a puddle of tears and gives me heartburn.

because it slows downs ur brain taking away pain like when you fall over it dosent hurt

It does not. You need to heal yourself by being positive about life.
