What would you drink a bottle of 2006 Alamos Torrontes with?!

Question: We recieved this Argentinian wine as a "Welcome Baby" gift. I like white wine and I know that you can drink it with fish and pasta, but is there anything specific that it goes REALLY well with?

Any ideas would be great! Thank you.

torrontes is a so called "aromatic" grape variety and produces wine which is lite in body with lively fruit, and good acidity, it's most noticeable and attractive quality is a perfumed nose, of lychees and sometimes jasmine honey notes. Due to this is stands up well to dishes with a little spice, and compliments oriental, thai, orother spiced dishes. it works equally well with crisp stronger salads such as rocket, asparagus or cos, also nice with goats cheese and roasted red peppers. whatever you have it with enjoy it not to cold as the excessive cold will mute the honeyed nose and flavour .

Pair with grilled/smoked meats or anything else that a dedicated carnivore might like to eat.

Thats a great gift. Alamos makes great wine. I would make a chicken dish with a little heat in it. Just get creative
