Can someone recommend a white wine that doesn't give me heart burn?!

Question: I really like wine but I have problems with it. I don't know why but red wine dyes my teeth for DAYS. Okay, maybe I'm exaggerating but one glass will of red wine would definitely stain my teeth for a few hours, so I try to avoid it when out in public. White wine, however, can give me really bad heartburn to the point where my entire night is ruined. This is also after one glass. I was wondering if anyone had any reccomendations for white wine that is not very acidic and would not give me heartburn or any tips in general about this (I already keep a pack of antacids with me in case I end up somewhere with wine being served).

You should look for wines without sulfites. That is probably your trouble. (I know it is for me and several other people I know) Read the label on the back. It'll say if there are sulfites or not.

riesling? maybe a pinot grigio

Just drink grape juice.

red wine doesn't stain any body's teeth come on
who are you kidding.......

but if you want a white wine that wont burn your inside
try a Zinfandel

chardonay!

Try a very "dry" white wine if you get heart burn

I would suggest with heartburn that up front you should try some prilosec.

Drink Sake

try mixing your wine with club soda to prevent heartburn.

Try sweeter wine like Zinfandel, Pinot Gregio or Gewurztraminer. Chardonnay although trendy is a bit more sharp and prone to causing gastric upset. Sparking wines are great too - try Italian over french or California. Good Luck!

instead of white ,,,why not try a nice rose ,,,not too acidic ,, won`t stain your teeth,,, and very popular

Riunite Blanco.

anything with low acidity,,,,,chardonnay or pinot blanc

i can tell you this, if you will get papaya enzyme and chew up 2 or more before drinking any wine you shouldn,t get heartburn.Purchase it at any drugstore where herbs are sold or a health food store. Works great!!!It is good to use before any meal containing an ingredient that might cause heartburn.Better than taking something afterwards because it prevents heartburn.
