sweet drinks are bad, but to be honest anything in excess will make you hate life the next day.
Best hangove cure is as follows: Lots of water, two asprin, and suck on one or two jolly rancher or a dumb dumb. The water rehydrates you, the asprin numbs the headache, and the hard candy gets your blood sugar back up.
Tequila, aka "the Devil's spit."
Also, any liquor with a dark brown color. This color, or "cogener," causes the hangover since it "hangs" around in your body's water, making the headache last longer.

Anything that has Gin in it always gives me a hangover even if I only had one drink.
This is really weird, but beer gives me a worse hangover than liquer. And wine is worse yet.
