Green alcohol drinks for St Pats?!
Answers: Tired of appletinis, dont wanna do swamp frog because the grain alcohol is too much for me, and really not into TOO fruity of a drink. Typically a beer or absolut/cranberry or absolut/pineapple drinker...but we're having a party this wknd and we want everything to be green! Anyone got any really good drink recipes??? If nothing else, i guess i could just add food coloring to the vodka/pineapple...not sure what color the green and yellow will look together! Maybe that green hawaiian punch mixed with vodka? IDK...help!!!
Well these are all green ingredients you can put in any drink to make it ...well green..... and for flavor as well!
* Crème de menthe liqueur
* Melon liqueur
* Green Chartreuse liqueur
* Green food coloring
* Crushed mint leaves
* Lime sherbet
* Pistachio ice cream
* Mint chocolate chip ice cream
* Lime-flavored gelatin
* Lime-flavored drink powder
* Limeade
Heres a recipe for Green Punch.. Just spike it with Vodka!! And WaLa!
NGREDIENTS
* 2 (3 ounce) packages lime flavored gelatin mix
* 1 quart hot water
* 1 (46 fluid ounce) can pineapple juice
* 2 (12 fluid ounce) cans frozen orange juice concentrate, thawed
* 2 cups white sugar
* 4 1/2 cups cold water
* 2 liters ginger ale
DIRECTIONS
1. In a large saucepan dissolve the gelatin in 1 quart of hot water. Allow to cool.
2. When gelatin is cool, pour into a large punch bowl, Stir in pineapple juice, orange juice concentrate, sugar and 4 1/2 cups cold water. Pour in ginger ale just before serving.
This one is called "Green Grog"
Defiantly green and seriously tasty you cant even taste the rum i swear!
INGREDIENTS
* 2 (12 fluid ounce) cans frozen limeade concentrate
* 2 (12 fluid ounce) cans frozen lemonade concentrate
* 2 (2 liter) bottles lemon-lime flavored carbonated beverage
* 1 (750 milliliter) bottle rum
* 2 quarts lime sherbet
DIRECTIONS
1. In a large pot, combine limeade, lemonade and lemon-lime soda. Stir in rum (add more to taste if desired.) Mix in the lime sherbet.
Key Lime Pie (if you want to make it a martini add graham cracker around the rim of the glass, YUMMMY!)
INGREDIENTS
* 1/2 lime, cut into wedges
* 4 fluid ounces vodka
* 1 1/2 fluid ounces frozen limeade concentrate, thawed
* 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
* 2 twists lime zest, garnish
DIRECTIONS
1. Place the lime wedges in the bottom of a mixing glass and muddle them well. Cover with ice, and pour in vodka, lime juice, and vanilla. Shake well, then strain into two stemmed cocktail glasses. Garnish each with a twist of lime.
Skyy Shamrock Smoothie
INGREDIENTS:
* 2 oz SKYY Melon
* 1/2 oz triple sec
* Splash of orange cura?ao
* juice of 2 limes
PREPARATION:
1. Pour the ingredients into a shaker with ice cubes.
2. Shake until frothy.
3. Strain into a chilled cocktail glass.

Come on, what's wrong with a couple of green beers? Food coloring is in everything you eat anyway!
Midori, Stoli and Squirt...I know it sounds odd but I had it at a party and it has been a staple for reunions ever since. When in doubt switch the squirt for sour...just make sure the vodka balances out the sweetness of the other two!
